100% New Zealand Buller's Fantail Wall Print Ready To Hang

A wonderfully detailed vintage print of Buller's Fantail. The vintage illustration features the fantail, Black and a Pied fantail (Maori name Piwakawaka), and a typical nest.  Their scientific names are Rhipidura fuliginosa and R. flabellifera. Originally published in Buller’s Birds, second edition, 1888, this is a modern reproduction taken from an original copy of Buller’s Birds of NZ. The original illustration in Buller’s Birds is by the great 19th Century ornithological artist John Keuleman.

The print is an A3 size (297 x 420 mm) and comes ready to hang. It features wooden batons on the top and bottom and is hung a hemp twine. The 200g coated paper print is archival quality. The chart comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube.
