White Koru Folding Umbrella by Gordon Walters

This very sturdy folding umbrella features a bold deisgn, the umbrella is predominantly black with a white koru round the edge.  This artwork is by the famous New Zealand artist, Gordon Walters.

Gordon Walter's is known for the melding of a the Maori motif, the koru with modern Abstract Expressionism.  As you can see the result is a monocramatic design that still looks fresh today even through the paintings that inspired them are approx 45 years old.

The umbrella measures approx 75cm across.  It features an automatic open button and comes in a matching sleeve.
