Aotearoa Maori Koru Design Tie

This tie features a repetitive Maori symbol inspired by the Koru or Fern patterns.

Many of these designs can be found on tukutuku panels in Maori meeting houses or wharenui. A common symbol found in koru patterns is the Koru which resembles the unfurling frond of the New Zealand Silver Fern.
