Koromiko Ecofelt Grow Bag by Jo Luping

The Ecofelt Grow Bags from Jo Luping Designs are stylish and eco friendly.  These grow bags are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles that were meant for landfills but have been transformed into something beautiful to grow new life in.  They are ideal for your garden or in you house, perfect for growing vegetables, herbs and flowers.

"I am interested in the medicinal properties of plants, especially as they have been used by indigenous peoples around the world. In this series I am exploring New Zealand Maori use of plants endemic to New Zealand. This Ecofelt Growbag features a drawing of a Koromiko or hebe which is found throughout New Zealand. It is traditionally used by Maori to cure dysentery and diarrhoea, kidney and bladder problems, to ease childbirth, as a mouthwash, to induce hunger, as a poultice for ulcers, boils and veneral disease! The ecofelt material is 2mm thickness felt with coloured stitching detail and the included Saucer is made from 100% biodegradable plant fibre. 

The Saucer is 165mm in diameter and the Growbag is 140mm diameter x 160mm high.
