On 22nd February 2011 Christchurch was rocked by a catastrophic earthquake which destroyed whole sections of the suburbs and central city. Christchurch as we knew it was lost forever.
Some of the most heartbreaking damage was to The Cathedral, Christchurch's symbolic heart.
This charm was produced as a commemorative item to mark this historic event which has effected the country so deeply.
The result was this highly detailed hand crafted masterpiece in solid sterling silver. This beautiful reproduction has been designed and created in Christchurch with the further support of New Zealand companies committed to the rebuilding of Christchurch.
The Cathedral Charm measures 20mm (0.8 inches) long and 6mm (0.24 inches) tall and 9mm (0.35 inches) wide and weight: 4 grammes solid sterling silver.
